Job Description

Junior Credit Analyst Davivienda Bank Miami, FL 33134 The Junior Analyst Credit is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the financial situation through the interpretation of financial statements, application of valuation methodologies, and monitoring of macroeconomic and managerial indicators, in order to support the entity’s credit and investment decision-making. Contribute to risk analysis by understanding international rating agencies, accounting standards (IFRS), and metrics such as EBITDA, ensuring a comprehensive view of the financial and market profile of issuers and counterparties within the portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate financial statements and performance metrics of issuers to assess their creditworthiness (EBITDA, Free Cash Flow (FCF/DS), Coverage ratios, etc.) and risk levels. Analyze credit reports, performance history, and other relevant data, including macroeconomic indicators and issuer-specific factors, to determine credit quality. Conduct research on industries and geographic regions (with a particular focus on Latin American and U.S. markets) to identify risks and trends that may impact issuers’ credit profiles. Prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports and documentation to support portfolio management decisions. Ensure documentation aligns with internal credit frameworks and complies with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, accountin or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, credit analysis, investment analysis, macroeconomics and capital markets. Minimum 2 years of experience working in the banking or financial industry Fluent in spanish and english (write, read and speak) The role requires strong knowledge of fixed income markets, credit metrics, and rating agency methodologies. Compliance with Fed, OFR, and OCC guidelines Specific knowledge: Knowledge and experience in NIIF Knowledge and experience in using the Google suite.
