New Edge Associates is collaborating with a reputable banking partner that is currently hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused Middle Market Portfolio Manager in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for managing assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, defining client credit solutions, identifying issues, and developing remediation, underwriting, and approving credit as designated. Responsibilities Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans Approve reviews and renewals for assigned existing and new client relationships Underwrite, structure, and document all prospect and client transactions Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Finance, or related field Seven years of experience in underwriting, portfolio administration, and commercial loan credit decision-making
