Credit Analyst 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Roslindale, MA 02131 We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Roslindale, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating the creditworthiness of clients, analyzing financial data, and making informed recommendations to minimize risk and enhance profitability. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to portfolio management while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Analyze credit applications to assess the financial viability and creditworthiness of prospective clients. Conduct detailed financial analyses, including cash flow assessments and risk evaluations, to support decision-making. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s financial interests. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with the Credit Manager to manage and optimize the credit portfolio. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and Foreign Asset Control regulations. Utilize credit risk models to evaluate and predict potential financial risks. Maintain effective communication with clients to address inquiries and provide necessary information. Support ongoing portfolio analysis and contribute to improving credit risk management strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance credit evaluation processes. Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field. Strong expertise in evaluating credit applications and assessing risk. Proficiency in conducting cash flow analyses and developing risk mitigation strategies. Familiarity with credit risk models and portfolio management techniques. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as the Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and Foreign Asset Control. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communication abilities to collaborate with teams and interact with clients. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
