Position Overview
We are currently working with a specialized investment firm managing differentiated strategies across private and public markets. The firm’s private credit franchise focuses on specialized loans and opportunistic credit investments, offering a unique risk-return profile compared to traditional credit markets. They sit at ~10bn AUM and are seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join their investment team.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Underwriting:
Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and credit analysis for potential investments.
Deal Execution:
Support transaction structuring, documentation, and coordination with legal and third-party advisors.
Portfolio Management:
Monitor existing investments, track performance metrics, and identify risks and opportunities.
Market Research & Sourcing:
Engage with investment banks, sponsors, and industry professionals to source and evaluate new opportunities.
Investment Committee Support:
Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Operational Support:
Assist with reporting, tracking deal flow, and maintaining internal systems and documentation.
Qualifications
2-6 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, or secondaries
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
