Experience Requirements:

Existing customer risk rating. This involves looking at Customer Type, Industry Type, Country, Products/Services, Geographies served, Activity (looking at past 12 months’ activity), source of funds and length of relationship. Negative news search on the customers. Monthly risk-rating exercise for High risk and corporate customers. Also, event- based risk rating of all the accounts for which transactions screening software has generated alerts for the respective months. Completing new account opening checklist and assisting manager in existing customer review process by generating statements of accounts, analyzing it and other relevant data collection, record maintenance. Assist manager in KYC update/refresh monitoring and supporting in Corporate KYC refresh by coordinating with respective business unit. Scrutiny of all new account opening forms for Corporate Customers, Credit Unions and Federal Credit Unions on the lines of the respective approved policy of New York Branch. Assisting Manager Compliance in existing customer review process by generating statements of accounts, analyzing it and other relevant data collection, record maintenance. Log maintenance (Escalations from Trade, DRS or any other Department). Review of alerts in transaction monitoring system and escalate unusual/suspicious activity to Manager. Review of FinCEN 314(a) alerts generated in Patriot Officer. Assist Manager in performing monthly transaction monitoring for the trade finance department activities and perform broker dealers review. Responsible for logging employee referrals as manual cases in transaction monitoring system. Preparation or Request for Information SWIFT messages/emails and communication/follow up with the relevant stakeholders. Record keeping and maintenance. Generating/Downloading various reports and assisting manager in resolving data quality issues identified.

Position Requirements:

Experience of 5+ years in banking compliance with a good understanding of BSA, AML and OFAC Prior experience banking experience in handling areas pertaining to Transaction Monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to Senior Management. Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders and examiners. Experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving optimization opportunities and presenting progress of the same,. Should work well individually and in a team. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, analytical approach for problem solving.

Preference :

CAMS or CFCS certification is desirable. Prior experience in adverse media search through available digital platforms. Case Management application experience. University degree.

Benefits:

The pay for the positions will be up to $65,000 – $70,000 (per annum) plus group life insurance, health, and dental insurance (fully paid for by the bank) and 401k benefits. The applicant should have eligibility for employment in the US on a long-term basis – Work-related Visas are not sponsored.
