Position Title:

Credit Manger Reports to:

General Manager Status:

Hourly The Credit Manager along with the Sales Manager are the second in charge at the individual branch location. The Credit Manager performs a wide variety of job functions at the direction of the General Manager, assisting and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional and profitable operations. The Credit Manager is accountable for meeting company objectives; maintain company quality standards and adhering to company policies. Monthly bonus structure for performance Paid Holidays off 2 weeks paid time off in first year 401K with company matching Principal Accountabilities Acquire and Maintain Customer Act as a customer liaison who resells the benefits of timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments Assist in managing store personnel; may direct activities of one or more employees Compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes Decipher, prepare and review store reports Document all customer commitments Ensure company standards for renewals, delinquencies and store collections are satisfied Fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support Follow monthly marketing plans and maintain internal quality control standards Manage customer accounts Managing inventory and cash assets Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, assign tasks, enforce company policy All other duties deemed necessary for effective store management Requirements for Credit Manager Effective organizational skills Established collection skills Good communication skills Handle multiple priorities simultaneously Learn and become proficient in POS system Maintain professional appearance Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers Negotiate and resolve conflict Plan, organize, delegate, coordinate and follow up various tasks and assignments Recognize and solve problems Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates General Physical Requirements Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-250 pounds Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics Prolonged driving and standing Must be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions.
