POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercial CreditAnalyst will support the lenders in underwriting requests forcredit extensions to new and existing commercial clients. They willperform detailed financial analysis for all lending opportunities,prepare credit approval and modification requests for presentationto Loan Committee by the lenders, perform annual credit reviews asneeded, ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit policies andprocedures, ensure the timely collection and spreading of interimand annual financial statements provided by clients, and updatefinancial information to maintain current reporting.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes data (i.e. financial statements, agencyreports) on prospective and active borrowing accounts and prepareswritten reports evaluating the short and long-term prospects of theindividual or company. Makes recommendations to Loan Officers onthe granting or denying of loans and prepares sufficientinformation (i.e. loan submissions) to document recommendations.

Identify and interpret trends in financial data. Interpret keyfinancial ratios (e.g. cash flow to debt service, debt-to-equity,etc.) Provides thorough documentation of all financial analysiswith via spreadsheets and written credit offering memorandums.

Suggests a loan grade after conducting a thorough credit analysisand documentation review. Coordinates specific work tasks withinthe department in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow ofinformation. Provides assigned reports. Performs annual review ofloan relationships.
