Job Description
As Chief Credit Officer (CCO) you will be in charge of a commercial credit team and work hand in hand with the President/CEO. The right Chief Credit Officer will be in charge of evaluating loan documentation and proposals by confirming credit worthiness, improve loan applications and documentation by informing credit analysts of additional requirements and reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants. This Chief Credit Officer position may sit on loan committee, approves loans after review, and helps customers by answering questions.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
10+ years in Commercial Credit or Lending, prior Chief Credit Officer experience preferred 5+ years leadership/management experience Experience with Commercial, Consumer, and Retail Lending
Possess strong credit experience and growth mindset
Loyal and hard-working with a team first mentality
Ability to analyze and underwrite loans, manage client relationships and cross sell bank products
Familiarity of sales, commercial loan underwriting, processing and closing processes
Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively
Good communication skills
