Lending Specialist – New Market Tax Credit United Bank of Southwest AL & Northwest FL Atmore, AL 36502 JOB
FUNCTION / SUMMARY
The Lending Specialist-NMTC will provide support to the New Market Tax Credit teams in all phases of the programs. The focus will be on post-closing servicing of existing NMTC transactions.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in handling New Market Tax Credits transactions Collect and file loan documents and due diligence items Ensure documents and files are imaged properly Manage NMTC Document Tracker and report delinquent items Contact clients and projects to collect ongoing documents and financial reports Assist with follow up Technical Exceptions Monitor ongoing compliance items, financial statements and insurance policies Coordinate NMTC transaction quarterly servicing to include wires and loan payments Assist with loan processing, including working with the loan operations department to ensure that loans are loaded in the core system in an accurate and timely manner Assist in processing draw approvals and wires Assist with monitoring past due loans Assist customers by phone, email, and through written correspondence Work problems through to resolution Any other duties as assigned by Management.
