Full Time The Credit & Collections Specialist plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial health through the management of credit and accounts receivable processes. This position is responsible for reviewing and processing customer orders, monitoring account status, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. It involves close collaboration with management and the sales department to develop effective collection strategies and maintain strong customer relationships. The role also includes updating credit files, submitting monthly credit memos and reports, and making informed decisions with a degree of independent judgment. This is a dynamic position within a collaborative credit department focused on minimizing delinquency and supporting overall business success.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must exhibit a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Preferred degrees include Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma would be acceptable and must be provided
Must be able to effectively handle credit and collection procedures.
Must exhibit the ability to aid in the formulation of systems and procedures to be used in the credit department.
Must exhibit prior experience in the use of a computer using word processing and spreadsheet software, such as Word or Excel.
Must exhibit the ability to assume responsibility for an assigned area of credit work.
Must exhibit good interpersonal skills and the ability to cooperate well with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in credit and collections. More than three years’ experience is required for level B position.
Prior supervisory/team lead experience.
Prior experience with Liens and Bond requirements.
Exhibit Credit Business Associate (CBA), Credit Business Fellow (CBF) or Certified Credit Executive (CCE) professional certification.
