The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of credit management principles. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the prevention of fraud. The Credit Specialist will work closely with various departments to analyze credit data and financial statements, assess risk, and support investment management decisions. Duties Analyze and evaluate credit applications to determine creditworthiness. Conduct thorough financial analysis and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Monitor accounts for delinquencies and initiate collection efforts as necessary. Prepare regulatory reports to ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards. Collaborate with investment management teams to assess potential risks associated with new investments. Implement fraud prevention detection measures to safeguard company assets. Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions and communications. Provide insights on financial concepts to support strategic decision-making within the organization. Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques and investment management principles. Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and governmental accounting practices. Experience in a banking environment is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
