Job Description
Purpose:
This position provides support for the Commercial Credit department through processing, evaluating, and completion of credit application analysis to include reviewing credit applications and maintain customer credit files.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business major preferred Strong commercial credit knowledge and basic advisory credit knowledge Basic knowledge of ERP systems Very strong client service skills Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines per client demands and ability to change work schedule to accommodate competing priorities Strong computer skills Flexible; readily adapts to change and new products, systems or methods Strong oral and written communication skills Experience with commercial or private lending credit knowledge preferred
Essential Job Functions:
Assists in receiving and reviewing application and account review process Conducts due diligence of companies for new credit requests, sales orders, and company policy-mandated reviews. Identifies cross sell opportunities, prepares credit approval packages, annual reviews, renewals of credit, client credit proposals and coordination of document preparation and closings. Manages expectations and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in a high email volume environment. Acts as a liaison between our internal support teams and our media sales teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Meets key performance indicators as outlined by management, achieve capture rate and complaint documentation standards each month In collaboration with the Credit Analyst may act as an additional contact to the client.
WORKING CONDITIONS
(TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT): Limited travel required including air and car While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
