General Position Scope:

This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the operations of the credit card services for the Bank. This includes providing effective service to our customers and requires compliance with various Federal Regulations as well as Visa regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities regarding the credit card function within the

Bank:

Monitor and process payments.
Monitor, process and/or verify all new account setups and maintenance.
Maintain and archive credit card customer files and daily maintenance request.
Report monitoring and distribution.
Monitor and resolve online customer credit card issues.
Research and resolve credit card issues.
Research and resolve maintenance and monetary exceptions/errors and reconcilement outages.
Provide customer support to resolve credit card service issues.
Reconcile Credit Card accounts, research and resolve daily reconciliation issues/outages of department general ledger and DDA accounts.
Assist with Credit Card Fraud Monitoring and Investigations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Connections program.
Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in card services, deposit operations, electronic banking or similar field
General knowledge of credit card operations including industry regulations
General knowledge of bank compliance regulations as they apply to credit card administration.
General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive reading as needed.
Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines.
