Credit Derivative Specialist•Hybrid (New York, NY)

Shift:

Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM

Pay Rate:

$54.07 / hr

Important:

The first two months will require 5 days per week in-office for training. After this period, the schedule will shift to a hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH).
We are seeking a Credit Derivative Specialist to support the US Mortgage Trading Desk, primarily managing the trade-capture workflow with a focus on derivatives and related hedge products. This role is essential in maintaining accurate and timely trade processing, mitigating operational risk, and ensuringpliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage trade capture workflow for the US Mortgage Trading Desk.
Perform initial reviews of trade bookings and resolve booking discrepancies.
Monitor primary and secondary trade systems to ensure accuracy andpliance.
Coordinate monthly lifecycle credit events and scheduled tradepressions.
Perform end-of-day trade position reconciliations.
Identify and resolve risk variations and booking errors impacting fee structures.
Ensure timely processing of trade amendments, allocations, and novations.
Ensure all bookings meet real-time reporting standards and regulatory requirements (Volcker CFTR, Swaps Push-Out, UMR).
Act as the primary point of contact for Trading, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Provide trade support expertise regarding the unique characteristics of Mortgage Indices.
Uphold accurate internal risk representation to protect firm capital.
Contribute to global coordination efforts to align with Trade Control standards.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in Trade Support or Middle Office Operations.
Familiarity with financial processing systems and trade lifecycle.
Solid understanding of front-to-back operational workflows and risk management practices.
Working knowledge of industry regulatory frameworks (e.g., Volcker Rule, DTCC Real-Time ing).
Product knowledge relevant to derivatives, mortgages, and structured products.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including decision-making under pressure.
High proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting and data reconciliation.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with stronganizational skills.
Excellentmunication skills and ability to liaise effectively across cross-functional teams.
Capability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and industry changes.
Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiency is a plus.

Pay Details:

$54.07 per hour
