GENERAL SUMMARY

The role ofLoan Consultant II is to provide exceptional customer experiencewhile providing personal loan solutions. This position focuses onbuilding a customer base through sales, loan extension and merchantreferrals. Role success will be based on creation of customerexperience, generation of business, compliance, attainment ofmonthly goals, and accuracy.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet,assist and solicit individuals entering the office and calling byphone; receive and process credit and employment verifications, andrecord information obtained. Process payments, distributions, andmake recommendations regarding loan approvals. Approve loans up toestablished lending limits and complete loan closings. Handleaccount activities related to collection accounts, including phonecalls and face to face communications with customers. Preparereports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and record andfile documentation; operate cash drawer, process bank deposits,maintain records and balances and closing of the branch. Activelymarket all branch products and services to individuals. Perform allother duties as assigned by management.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

HighSchool Diploma or GED from accredited institution 2-4 plus yearsconsumer finance or related experience Cash handling; computerskills; customer service skills Ability to work with minimumsupervision Excellent communication skills Proficient workingknowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates or Bachelor’s DegreeBilingual, Spanish/English

COMPENSATION

The salary range for thisposition is $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, based on the specificKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Experience of the selectedcandidate. This position is eligible for Quarterly Incentivecompensation based on individual and company performanceguidelines.
