New Loan Onboarding Summary:
A well-established organization in the housing and mortgage sector is seeking a Customer Service Representative – New Loan Onboarding to join their loan servicing team. This role is focused on onboarding newly originated single-family mortgage loans and supporting borrowers during the initial stages of the loan servicing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage loan servicing (not origination) and will be comfortable working in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment. This position plays a key part in ensuring smooth transitions for new mortgagors and supports various aspects of the loan servicing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Review incoming mortgage loan documents, including Notes, Deeds, Closing Disclosures, Title Insurance, Escrow Statements, and more. Accurately enter new loans into the Black Knight servicing platform across multiple onboarding screens. Generate and mail Welcome Packages to new borrowers. Produce payoff quotes for both first and second mortgages. Submit legal descriptions for tax billing purposes. Respond to borrower inquiries and resolve onboarding-related issues. Collaborate with internal servicing teams to ensure seamless account setup. Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing (not origination). Familiarity with loan closing documentation and servicing workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Black Knight servicing system strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
