Loan Operations Assistant – Housed in Gibsland Ops Center

Gibsland, LA 71028 The individual in this job will provide support for the Loan Operations Department of GBT and will keep records of financial transactions, reconcile and balance internal accounts, post transactions and general ledger entries. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Daily loan operations support including: Enter new loans into our core system Export documents into imaging system Process escrow Escrow disbursements Escrow analysis (initial, annual & short-year) Escrow closures Report new loans to Lereta (Accumatch) Close loans in Lereta (Accumatch) Order loan coupon books BHG Loan Servicing BancAlliance Loan Servicing Scan/Index loans and maintain GBT central vault located in Gibsland Process paid outs Process collateral releases Loan maintenance and research Process late fee refunds Process extensions/debt modifications ACH return research Same day ACH processing Process Gulf Guaranty policies, AH claims and death claims Setup automatic transfers
Reconcile:
o Loan WIP o Eppraisal o Vizaline o Credit Card GL o Cash Advance o Participation Remittance o VSI Remittance o GAP Insurance Remittance Miscellaneous department support including Pull requested items from daily work Retention/shredding of daily branch work Answer telephone calls and assist customers
Qualifications:
Two to four years of banking experience and prior operations experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of banking products, services, policies and procedures preferred. Consistent and reliable presence at work is required.
