Job Description
Loan Servicing Specialist Greater Philadelphia Area We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced loan services professional to join the loan operations team at a trusted community bank in the Greater Philadelphia area. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in loan operations. While the role is primarily focused on commercial loans, it also offers valuable exposure to consumer, mortgage, and SBA lending. Additional responsibilities include investor reporting, system reconciliation, and audit support—making it an excellent fit for someone eager to deepen their expertise in a collaborative, community banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input new loans—consumer, commercial, and mortgage—into the core system Process payments for participation and syndication loans Review and troubleshoot system-generated reports from overnight processing Reconcile general ledger accounts related to loan settlements and address posting discrepancies Perform advanced maintenance functions across all loan types within the core platform Verify loan data input to ensure accuracy and assist with audit readiness Fulfill secondary market loan sale obligations and ensure timely investor reporting and remittances (including SBA) Address internal and external loan servicing inquiries Generate reporting and portfolio queries upon request Conduct monthly escrow analyses Assist with system verification during upgrades and enhancements Support cross-training and step in across servicing functions as needed Complete all required compliance training and apply knowledge in daily responsibilities Contribute to other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in loan servicing Foundational accounting knowledge (Accounting I or equivalent experience) Proficiency with numbers and system navigation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred:
