THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE
Summary of Position:

Members of the Loan Servicing team work together to provide excellent customer service, protect the bank from fraud, adhere to regulatory and secondary market requirements, report to credit bureaus and other third parties, monitor/maintain system functionality related to all loan types.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Builds and maintains commercial, mortgage and consumer loans on our computer system.
  • Processes loan transactions, calculates payment corrections, performs and reviews system maintenance, problem-solves for internal and external customers, manages and calculates escrow accounts for insurance and property taxes
  • Reports to federal agencies, credit bureaus, and investors
  • Uses several computer programs to communicate with third party providers, write report parameters, maintain core system parameters, write procedures, store documents.
  • Researches/Learns/Practices regulatory compliance regarding loans and general banking regulations.
  • Maintains all mortgage and consumer loan files, including legal and financial documents, answering questions, filing documents correctly and tracking file distribution.
  • Responds to internal and external customer requests for information regarding loans, i.e.: loan payoff calculation, payment processing, legal documentation, escrow disbursement and calculation, regulatory requirements, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education, Skill and Experience Requirements:
  • Associates degree, or high school diploma and five year’s work experience in a position with similar responsibilities preferred
  • Lending and/or Loan Servicing experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Effective and professional interpersonal skills, i.e., good listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and math skills required. Detail-oriented.
  • Strong aptitude for working on different technology applications
  • Fully capable of managing workload with speed and accuracy to satisfy multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, internet savvy, natural ability to comprehend computer processing, report-writing skills
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$22.00 – $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
