We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support the seamless execution of our freight forwarding operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods across global and domestic supply chains. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international shipping, regulatory compliance, and the coordination of multimodal transportation solutions. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as the central point of contact between clients, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments. Your primary focus will be on managing the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring accurate documentation, proactive problem-solving, and superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage daily international and domestic freight shipments, including air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and ground transport Liaise with carriers, overseas agents, third-party vendors, and customs brokers to ensure on-time and compliant movement of cargo Prepare, review, and distribute all necessary shipping documentation, including: Bills of Lading Commercial Invoices Packing Lists Certificates of Origin AES filings and other regulatory forms Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and client-specific SOPs Monitor shipments throughout their lifecycle and proactively address delays, exceptions, or discrepancies Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in transportation management systems (TMS), customer portals, and internal databases Communicate shipment status updates to clients and internal stakeholders with a focus on transparency and customer satisfaction Support the invoicing process by verifying freight charges and coordinating resolution of billing discrepancies Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and compliance teams to improve service quality and operational efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding role (preferably with an NVOCC or freight forwarder) Solid understanding of Incoterms, international shipping practices, customs brokerage processes, and documentation requirements Proficiency in logistics software and TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise, Magaya, Descartes, or similar) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage professional relationships with clients and partners High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is preferred

Language Requirement:

Spanish fluency is a must (both written and verbal) due to the nature of client and vendor communication.
