This role requires strong coordination with airlines, customs authorities, and transportation providers, along with excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee the air importation process, managing customs clearance and coordinating deliveries to final destinations. Liaise with airlines, customs authorities, and trucking companies to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of shipments. Track and monitor shipments, providing clients with regular status updates and handling any issues that arise. Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for customs clearance, such as invoices, bills of lading, and other regulatory forms. Ensure full compliance with relevant import regulations, trade laws, and customs policies. Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Educational Requirements & Experience Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry is preferred. CargoWise Experience Experience with air imports is highly beneficial. Required Skills & Competencies Mathematical Proficiency Capable of performing basic calculations, including cost estimations and rate assessments. Other Essential Skills Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
