Full Time Customs Manager The Customs Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all customs and tradepliance activities for thepany. They will ensure that thepany’s import and export operations follow all relevant laws and regulations, and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained. The Customs Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of customs and tradepliance professionals, and for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that thepany’s operations are efficient and effective. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee all customs and tradepliance activities for thepany.
Ensure that thepany’s import and export operations are inpliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for thepany’s import and export operations.
Manage a team of customs and tradepliance professionals.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that thepany’s operations are efficient and effective.
Provide guidance and support to thepany’s operations and sales teams on customs and tradepliance matters.
Stay up-to-date on changes to customs and trade regulations and advise thepany on any potential impact.
Participate in audits and investigations related to customs and tradepliance. Educational background / Work experience Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in customs and tradepliance.
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role. Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of customs and trade regulations and procedures.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Certification in customs and tradepliance (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist). Language skills Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Proficiency in one or more additional languages is preferred. Computer Literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
