This is a direct hire position offering long-term growth with a global supply chain leader.

Ocean Import Agent Responsibilities:

Coordinate outbound ocean freight shipments to overseas destinations. Open and manage shipment files in the internal system. Prepare shipping documentation, assess freight charges, and collect fees. Verify invoices and shipping manifests for compliance with customs regulations. Convert currency figures and ensure proper document formatting. Communicate with international networks to ensure timely shipment movement. Maintain accurate and organized documentation. Prepare customer quotations and support problem resolution as needed.

Ocean Import Agent Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months to 1 year of ocean freight or logistics experience preferred. Customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Knowledge of sea freight processes and international shipping environments. Self-starter with the ability to multitask and support cross-functional tasks.

$28.00 – $31.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
