Coordinate U.S. customs operations for imports and exports.
Ensure trade compliance by verifying HTS/HS codes and documentation.
Collaborate with international contracts and internal teams.
Prepare customs instructions in SAP (GTS module).
Monitor and report on customs performance (KPIs).
Support cost-saving initiatives in customs processes.
Prioritize and plan customs activities across multiple sites.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your ground
Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in customs and transportation.
Advanced knowledge of customs law, HTS codes, Incoterms, and procedures.
Experience with logistics suppliers and customs brokers.
Strong independent work ethic and team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Must be able to work onsite at our Mt. Pleasant, PA location

Preferred:

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience with SAP S4 Hana (GTS & TM modules).
