This pivotal role will oversee all financial operations for all communities, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards while providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization’s growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and public accounting, with a proven ability to interpret financial reports and prepare accurate financial statements. Duties Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Utilize financial software and accounting software to streamline processes and improve reporting capabilities. Interpret financial reports for senior management, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and support. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation required . Extensive experience in public accounting or a similar role within a corporate environment. Proficiency in financial software and accounting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulations.
