Corporate Controller- CPA Atlanta, GA Job Description :

We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller tojoin our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background incorporate accounting, particularly within the asset managementindustry, and possess expertise in Oracle, partnership accountingand consolidations. This role requires strong analyticalcapabilities and excellent management skills, including the abilityto oversee third-party offshore resources.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the daily operations of the corporate accounting team,ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Prepare and reviewfinancial statements and assist with analyzing financialinformation including identifying trends and providing insights tomanagement. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring alltransactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP standards andregulatory requirements. Develop and manage budgets, forecastfinancial performance, and analyze variances. Lead development andimplementation of accounting policies and procedures. Oversee taxpreparation and compliance. Implement and maintain internalcontrols to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy offinancial data. Handle partnership accounting, including thepreparation and review of capital account statements, allocationsand consolidation. Utilize Oracle for financial reporting andanalysis. Train and coordinate with third-party offshore resources,ensuring efficient and effective collaboration. Work with externalauditors and prepare for audits. Collaborate with other departmentsto support overall business objectives. Provide leadership andmentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement.

Qualifications :

CPA certificationrequired. Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in corporateaccounting in financial services, preferably with a focus on theasset management industry. Proficiency in Oracle and other relevantaccounting software. Prior experience of managing tax preparationand compliance highly desired. Strong knowledge of partnershipaccounting principles and practices. Proven ability to manage andcoordinate third-party offshore resources. Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in ateam environment. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
