Job Description

SplashBI is a unique analytics platform with AI capabilities, providing conversational insights, unified reporting and analytics. We are a fast-growing, private, international SaaS company providing innovative cloud-based solutions to clients worldwide. With a strong presence in North America, Europe, and APAC, we are scaling rapidly and looking for an experienced accounting leader to manage our global accounting operations. The qualified individual will be an active, hands-on leader who will manage the accounting department, be a business partner across the company, and report to the Chief Financial Officer. You will actively lead the day-to-day aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, treasury, internal control systems, budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis, and statutory compliance for the business. The ideal candidate for the position will have an audit or public accounting foundation, an active CPA license, and at least three years in the controllership or lead accounting role. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in leadership roles in accounting, external financial reporting, designing, and implementing internal controls, accounting for acquisitions, system implementations and integrations, process reengineering, and depth in working with accounting systems. Responsibilities Lead and manage the global accounting team across multiple international entities. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end close and quality of management reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS across jurisdictions for US and International locations. Manage and improve financial reporting processes, internal controls, and accounting systems. Liaison with third-party CPA to manage audits, Income tax (Federal/State) calculations, and State and Local tax submissions as required. Maintain and administer Company Accounting Policy and Controls. Sage Intact Systems/Application Integration and Administration. Project management of internal projects and initiatives as required. Actively manage and support directives and needs of the business as identified by management. Produce monthly and quarterly cash forecast reports. Support the CFO in quarterly forecast and annual budgeting cycles. Partner with business leaders to provide insights into financial performance. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across accounting and business operations. Mentor and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence. Support the development and presentation of management, shareholder, and investor financial presentations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent required). 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong background in SaaS or technology companies; experience in international operations. In-depth knowledge of GAAP, with experience with multi-currency consolidations. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and financial reporting tools. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
