Overview This role requires a detail-oriented, strategic thinkerwith an extensive understanding of technical accounting principlesand the ability to oversee the transformation of complex financialinformation into clear, compliant communication. The idealcandidate will be a highly organized, proactive leader capable ofdriving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering thoughtfulinsights to relevant stakeholders while maintaining the higheststandards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Theyshould demonstrate a track record of developing team members andimplementing process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of atechnical accounting and financial reporting function. FinancialReporting Build out processes to enable the organization toeffectively prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financialstatements (10-Q, 10-K) in compliance with US GAAP and SECrequirements Oversee the preparation of complex financialschedules, including earnings per share, cash flow statement,equity roll forward, among others Manage and enhance the quarterlyand annual disclosure checklist process, ensuring full adherence toUS GAAP and SEC regulations Establish appropriate relationships andbuild out processes to enable effective coordination with seniormanagement, external auditors, and internal teams to produce timelyand accurate SEC filings Technical Accounting Lead in-depthtechnical accounting research and prepare detailed memorandums oncomplex accounting issues and mentor and enable team members to dothe same Stay informed of emerging accounting pronouncements anddisclosure requirements, serving as a senior knowledge resource forthe organization Lead the interpretation and implementation of newaccounting standards, ensuring company-wide compliance Provideexpertise in stock-based compensation accounting and collaborateclosely with equity administration Process Improvement Identifystrategic opportunities and lead initiatives to streamlinereporting processes and controls Continuously refine and enhanceinternal and external reporting procedures and policies Ensurecomprehensive and accurate documentation of financial informationused in external reporting, including earnings releases andinvestor relations materials Stakeholder Management Collaboratewith cross-functional senior leaders to resolve complex accountingand reporting issues Provide expert strategic guidance on technicalaccounting matters to various departments across the organizationSupport investor relations initiatives by ensuring the accuracy andcompleteness of financial disclosures Key Responsibilities Analyzethe accounting implications of new transactions and businesschanges, applying relevant accounting standards and literature. Usesound judgment to navigate subjective areas and ensure thoughtfuland appropriate conclusions. Prepare or review journal entries andreconciliations for responsible accounting subject matters,including but not limited to stock based compensation, equitytransactions, and other areas as needed to support the month-endand quarter-end close and reporting process. Prepare monthly andquarterly financial reporting packages, including collaborationwith team members to document variance analyses, to facilitate thetimely and accurate preparation of relevant financial information.
Provide guidance and training to accounting staff and businesspartners as needed. Develop, implement, and monitor internalcontrols to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliancewith U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. Support the financeorganization in day-to-day activities, projects, workflow processimprovements, SOX compliance and other ad-hoc requests Reviewsignificant vendor agreements and / or customer contracts andevaluate the impact Provide training to internal Finance andAccounting group on technical accounting matters Requirements AboutYou Minimum requirements 10 years of experience in accounting, witha combination of corporate and public accounting, preferably BigFour audit, including direct experience with external reporting andtechnical accounting Bachelor or higher degree in accounting orfinance; CPA certification required Extensive US GAAP andaccounting skills with the ability to convert technical researchand interpretation into practical, strategic solutions Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills with the ability toinfluence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with attention to detail Exceptionalorganizational skills ensuring efficient and effective strategicexecution Demonstrated capability to establish realistic timelines,coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, andconsistently meet deadlines Strong technical accounting knowledge(including but not limited to
ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 340, ASC 805,ASC
842, Reg S-X, and relevant SEC rules and filing requirements)Preferred Requirements Proficiency in financial reporting software(i.e., Workiva) and advanced Excel skills Demonstrates a proactive,hands-on style and the ability to prioritize and deliver resultsamidst a wide variety of critical initiatives Experience working inthe enterprise software industry and familiarity with complexsoftware revenue recognition requirements Experience with NetSuiteis preferred.
