The Financial Aid Planning Representative is responsible for providing financial aid support and advising services to both current/existing and incoming students, and their families regarding various finance options. Financial Aid Planning Representatives must be excellent communicators, with the ability to think critically. It is imperative to build and maintain strong relationships with students to support their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
Advise current/existing and incoming students about the various methods to pay for their education, financial aid eligibility, financial assistance programs, costs, budgeting, and loan repayment. Analyze financial data to determine financial aid eligibility. Evaluate data and personalize the information to the needs of the student . Answer questions, inquiries, or requests from students, parents, or guardians regarding financial aid programs and eligibility. Assist students and parents with the completion of financial aid forms, which include FAFSA and verification requirements. Assist students and parents with the process of federal and educational loan applications Interact with current/existing and incoming students through various means: face-to-face, electronically, telephone.
