Job Description

Interim Financial Analyst Birmingham, AL $40- $50/h DOE We are looking for an Interim Financial Analyst to provide critical financial analysis and support to a client of ours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial data and providing insights to drive business decisions.

Essential Functions:
Financial Analysis:

The Interim Financial Analyst will conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions. Analyze financial performance and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts. Monitor and report on budget performance. Update financial models to reflect current and future business conditions.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Support internal and external audits.

Preferred Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
