Job Description:

At Regions, the Regions Investment Management (RIM) Portfolio Manager manages fixed-income assets for a group of clients. Primary Responsibilities Manages a significant amount of fixed income assets Manages large accounts and/or moderately complex accounts/funds, providing advice and guidance to clients Implements policies and programs approved by management and the investment committee Conducts fundamental credit analysis for making and implementing investment decisions Manages the portfolio risk management aspect of an investment process Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the securities market May lead or supervise other staff May have fixed-income trading responsibility May use quantitative screening tools This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or closely related field, supplemented by technical training in estate planning and financial and economic markets Seven (7) years of experience in investment / portfolio management, brokerage, finance Strong credit background with solid understanding of fundamental credit research and a generalist background Preferences Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation Skills and Competencies Excellent negotiations skills Functional/technical skills Interpersonal skills Presentation skills Proven performance in investment management and administration Strong quantitative background and experience Verbal and written communication skills Works effectively in a small team environment Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
