Description We are looking for a highly skilled Sr Financial Analyst to join our client’s team in Birmingham, Alabama. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee critical financial operations, including bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and budget management. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Take ownership of the month-end close process, preparing financial statements and reports.
• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain and analyze financial data.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budget processes to align with organizational goals.
• Conduct audits to assess financial records and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage capital resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements
• Proven experience in financial management, with a strong focus on bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
• Familiarity with capital management processes and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across teams and training staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
