The Financial Coordinator provides insurance verification, medical benefits review with respect to transplantation, including coordination of coverage for post transplant pharmaceuticals and serve as a financial resource to the patient, their families and or designees. Education Associate Degree in Business or Health related field required. Experience 3 years experience in healthcare setting with insurance and billing experience required. Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, excel, access, microsoft project and powerpoint. Medical terminology, medical record review, understanding of Medicaid/medicare reimbursement and coding.
