Financial Analyst II (Tier II)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, conducting reconciliations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain the organization’s financial health. This position is based in Auburn, Maine, and offers a remote work arrangement with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Review carrier statements to identify and address payment inconsistencies, ensuring proper billing at the employee/employer tier.
- Conduct monthly verification and accuracy checks on assigned accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve financial processes, applying critical thinking to solve complex problems independently.
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Follow established payment and reconciliation procedures, adapting to updates or changes as business needs evolve.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure adherence to billing protocols and financial procedures.
- Support the implementation of innovative methods to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
