Business Systems Analyst Job Purpose:
Serve as a functional expert on the finance and accounting modules of the Company’s Oracle Finance system to provide user support and coordinate IT technical support when required.
Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:
Maintain Oracle Chart of Account (COA), Cross Validation Rule (CVR), Security Rule (SRULE) Maintain Oracle Accounting Calendar (General ledger and Assets) Administer the Balance Sheet Scorecard (BSS) module in Oracle, including maintenance to the BSS application and preparation of the executive reports Maintain policies and procedures related to Oracle Finance Systems including Corporate Finance Oracle User Responsibilities (OUR) Review and approve Corporate Finance OUR requests Coordinate with IT OUR Segregation of Duty (SOD) audit for various Corporate Finance teams (External Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit) Act as liaison between system users and IT groups to collaboratively evaluate solutions and alternatives Serve as back up Consolidation System (Host Analytics) Administrator Finance Webmaster Finance Policy Administrator Close Activity Tracker Tool Administrator Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested Coordinate with Plant Controllers and Plant Managers on revenue reserve analysis File certain Government surveys with the
Census Bureau Education and Experience:
: 1-3 years of experience in the role as a Business Systems Analyst. 5 years overall finance experience 4 Year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information System Required Experience with Oracle ERP Module Expertise Preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Chat, and Meet).
