Commercial Credit Analyst:
The Commercial Credit Analyst willsupport the lenders in underwriting requests for credit extensionsto new and existing commercial clients. They will perform detailedfinancial analysis for all lending opportunities, prepare creditapproval and modification requests for presentation to LoanCommittee by the lenders, perform annual credit reviews as needed,ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit policies and procedures,ensure the timely collection and spreading of interim and annualfinancial statements provided by clients, and update financialinformation to maintain current reporting.
PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes data (i.e. financial statements, agencyreports) on prospective and active borrowing accounts and prepareswritten reports evaluating the short and long-term prospects of theindividual or company. Makes recommendations to Loan Officers onthe granting or denying of loans and prepares sufficientinformation to document recommendations. Identify and interprettrends in financial data. Interpret key financial ratios (e.g. cashflow to debt service, debt-to-equity, etc.) Provides thoroughdocumentation of all financial analysis with via spreadsheets andwritten credit offering memorandums. Suggests a loan grade afterconducting a thorough credit analysis and documentation review.
Coordinates specific work tasks within the department in order toensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Providesassigned reports. Performs annual review of loan relationships.
