This role will focus on general ledger activities, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation and a proactive approach to solving problems. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner. Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts. Support tax preparation activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for analysis. Perform accrual accounting tasks to ensure accurate reporting of expenses and revenues. Interpret financial reports to assist management in decision-making processes. Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting. Skills Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements. Proficient in accrual accounting methods. Ability to interpret financial reports effectively. Experience in corporate accounting and financial accounting practices. Skilled in financial statement preparation and analysis. Understanding of securities law as it pertains to financial reporting is advantageous.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience. Solid understanding of GAAP. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
