Portfolio Implementation Analyst O’Shaughnessy Asset Management (OSAM) is looking to hire a full-time Portfolio Implementation Specialist as a member of the Portfolio Management Team. The candidate will work closely with our investment management, client service and operations team to implement the firm’s investment strategies across client accounts. Key responsibilities of the position include: Implementing and executing investment decisions for our Canvas custom indexing separately managed accounts. Fulfill client requests and managing events throughout the client’s lifecycle, such as account transitions, cash flows, rebalances and tax harvests. Trade construction and account optimizations using OSAM/FT proprietary technology and rule-based investment triggers. Managing equity trade baskets, order rotation and market liquidity to pursue best execution for client portfolios. Reconcile post trade executions, account cash and trade allocations. Monitor account asset allocation guidelines, model drift & dispersion along with annual tax budgets for tax sensitive portfolios. Exposure to our CANVAS customized direct indexing portfolio interface. Opportunity to collaborate with Franklin Muni and Options teams to enhance client experience as Canvas expands into non-equity solutions. Liaising with other departments internally, including Portfolio Management, Research, Compliance, Sales and Marketing, Trading, and Operations. Familiarity with Archer/Vestmark/Fix Flyer OMS/EMS desirable.

Qualifications:

Series 65 or 66 preferred or willing to obtain shortly after hire Minimum experience in a similar role – 6 years. Minimum trading experience – 5 years. Strong knowledge and ability to effectively manage and execute trade baskets with contra brokers. Knowledge of financial markets, portfolio management and trade construction and life cycle. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work effectively under a high standard. Detail-oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills that can be leveraged to evaluate portfolios and troubleshoot outlier results. Strong excel skills and knowledge of Bloomberg. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
