Full Job Description Summary:

Under the direction of the VP, Treasurer, the Director FP&A will be responsible for providing both high level and detailed financial analysis of the Company. This position is the primary liaison between departments to project budgeting and forecasting annual capital spending. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate cost modeling, analysis, and reporting, and presenting findings monthly to executives. The incumbent will recommend procedural changes that would improve accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with department heads to develop detailed annual budgets and monthly forecast. Create Budgeting/Variance Analysis of the internal financial reporting. Research and resolve variances to forecast and budget as a part of each monthly close cycle. Will need to prepare ad hoc financial modeling and analytics of the Company and its competitors. Spearhead enterprise-wide FP&A initiatives, delivering actionable insights through scenario modeling, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards. Prepare, review and analyzes supporting schedules related to financial and operational reporting, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. For internal use to manage the business. Identify opportunities and suggest improvements to streamline the operational and financial processes. Develop trending, monitoring, and forecasting process leading to accurate annual budgeting and 5-year forecasting. Accomplish tasks/projects assigned, from time to time, supporting both operational and financial needs. Ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum of 8+ years recent experience in business, operations, and financial reporting/support and associated exposure or equivalent experience. Ability to interact with senior executives and management team and present information to enable the organization to make the right decision. Proven expertise in building and managing sophisticated financial models. Detailed oriented – able to roll up sleeves and get into every aspect of the business. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment and meet deadlines. Self-starter with initiative to identify potential issues and recommend strategies to address same. Advanced working knowledge of Power BI and MS Excel Exceptionally strong analytical skills and the ability to be attentive to details with excellent practical and theoretical understanding of accounting/financial reporting and auditing principles. Familiarity with computerized accounting systems, proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Word, Oracle and general system experience highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Travel/Misc.: Occasional traveling will be required to the different business unit sites.
