Job Description Summary The overall objective of this position is to provide a high level of customer service, business intelligence, and insights into a variety of reporting. Essential Duties/Accountabilities Prepare and analyze data for end-user projects Accurately report and understand financials, including general ledger accounts Evaluate general ledger accounts by conducting variance analysis – comparing actual results with plans and forecasts Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives Guide cost analysis process by following policies and procedures Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools Responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends And here is what you will need to be successful: Qualifications 0-2 years of business, finance, or relevant experience preferred High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics preferred Fluency with Excel formulas and functions Analytical and data query/data management skills (Access, SQL, Business Intelligence) Quantitative and analytical competency Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Skills Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow Interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.
