in support of our government customer on the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract assists USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally. If you are an experienced, self-directed, Asset Manager and are motivated by doing impactful work in support of our military, we want to talk with YOU! As a member of our team, you will provide asset management services and inventory control analysis to maintain consistent accountability of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) assets.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Documenting and coordinating shipping and receiving of ADPE assets, accountability of inventory, short term storage facilities of computer/communications-related assets, and distribution of hardware, as directed by the Government. + Ensuring that ADPE hardware and software are properly received in an ITSM approved database, documented in accordance with Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements, stored, and disbursed to the required user to maintain good supply and accountability of ADPE. + Recommending and supporting the development, and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement. + Report on inventory levels to efficiently utilize capital investment. You MUST have the following R equired
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma OR 7 years with AS/AA degree OR 5 years with
BS/BA, OR 3
years with MS/MA + Three years of experience in an IT and asset management position. + Active government clearance. ( Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.) It’s a plus if you have the following
Desired Qualifications:
+ Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing + Prior experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization + ITIL Foundations or higher level ITIL certification
