What you’ll do Provide support to the VP Land Acquisitions, VP Land Development, and VP Finance with the preparation of land analysis and forward-looking projections
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Provide support to the VP Land Acquisitions and VP of Finance with land acquisition analysis and review
Review and analysis of land budgets
Perform analysis on monthly financial results against budget and forecasts, including trend analysis
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting package (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Inventory, reconciliations, etc.)
Responsible for the maintenance of the Division’s house price worksheets (HPWs) and other supporting pricing tools for active communities and communities coming to market
Prepare and analyze pertinent schedules and compile supporting documents required for quarterly and annual audits
Develop skills as a super user in OneStream and JD Edwards accounting software
Additional duties to be discussed What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
2+ years of experience in a financial reporting role
Experience with any accounting software packages and ability to quickly learn new software packages
Advanced Excel skills including regular use of functions, pivot tables and macros
Strong analytical, accounting and organizational skills with attention to detail
Results oriented with ability to set realistic and attainable goals and meet those on time
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and personal integrity Bonus points Accounting and/or business designation (CPA/MBA) a plus
Home building and/or land development experiencestronglypreferred
Experience with JD Edwards and/or OneStream a definite plus
