Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with strong experience in W2-Cs processing, prior quarter adjustments, and multi-state payroll. This role supports the Corporate Payroll Accounting, Tax, and Support Unit and requires deep knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and accounting practices.

Key Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Proven experience in processing W2-Cs , including prior quarter adjustments and amendments .

Required:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Experience handling multi-state payroll for a large organization Strong understanding of payroll accounting and employment tax regulations Expertise in amendment processing for payroll records

Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Accounting Accurately book all payroll transactions to the general ledger Post monthly payroll expenses, employer-paid fringe benefits, and accruals Perform balance sheet account reconciliations for payroll-related activities 2. Employment Tax Compliance Coordinate with external vendors for accurate and timely tax payments and filings Manage exceptions such as tax refunds, notices, and amended returns Assist in employment tax research and ensure compliance 3. Payroll Processing Support Oversee payroll funding, net pay, and tax reconciliation Administer benefit plan interfaces and funding (e.g., 401k) Process expatriate payroll in partnership with third-party providers Handle relocation and fringe benefit processing Prepare net cash projections and coordinate with
