International workforce Work-from-home days Edgewater Group is searching for an experienced Accountant for their Tallahassee, FL office . The Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to company and departmental accounting and internal financial reporting. This hands-on role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting process including maintaining accounting practices, processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statement reporting both internally and to parent. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities across the Parent and Subsidiary companies including general ledger preparation, cash management, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and the support of budget and forecast activities. Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close, and the timely reporting of financial information.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure both internally and parent requirements.
• Ensure that all accounting and financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Work with other accounting specialists to ensure that all monthly accounting and general ledger requirements are completed timely and accurate.
• Complete monthly accounting and general ledger activities for subsidiaries including intercompany transactions.
• Work with treasurer to ensure the daily banking and cash flow management requirements are met.
• Work with accounting team to ensure all bank reconciliations are done in a timely manner
• Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
• CPA preferred
• 4-6 years experience preferred
• M3, Sage Intacct, Quickbooks preferred Please submit resume for immediate consideration.
