Treasury Analyst – Cash Posting Temp Experts Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202 Treasury Analyst – Cash Posting Lakewood Ranch, FL TempExperts is hiring for a Treasury Analyst position with Cash Posting experience for a successful company in Lakewood Ranch . This is a temporary assignment with potential to extend employment. This position will support daily cash operations by ensuring timely and accurate posting of all cash activity across multiple entities and bank accounts into the general ledger. The role will be instrumental in maintaining up-to-date cash records, preparing daily cash reports on prior day activity, and operating in both the current Great Plains environment as well as the Workday platform following its implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Post daily cash activity for multiple entities (customer receipts, vendor payments, wires, ACH transactions, bank fees, and other treasury-related transactions) into the general ledger. Prepare daily cash reports summarizing prior day activity. Research and resolve variances or discrepancies related to cash postings. Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to ensure accurate cash posting. Support month-end close processes related to cash, including preparation of journal entries. Maintain supporting documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash accounting, or general ledger roles. Experience with Great Plains; Workday experience a plus. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. High attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficient in Excel. Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working within ERP systems to create and post journal entries. Familiarity with banking platforms, including accessing reports, transaction details, and other information needed to support accurate cash posting activity. TempExperts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
