The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Financial Planning and Analysis, is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting financial data to support executive decision-making. This role involves preparing materials for quarterly earnings calls, annual planning processes, board reporting, industry and competitive analysis, and any ad-hoc financial analyses. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with our global finance partners, to better understand the business and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and experience in financial planning and analysis; a self-starter with a curious mind that takes initiatives and ownership of their area of expertise.
Essential Functions:
Lead the consolidation of all submissions for the quarterly forecast process.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Provide value-added analysis and insights to executive management. Prepare schedules and materials for quarterly earnings release calls.
Evaluate forecasts to recommend public earnings guidance.
Highlight new trends and provide detailed analysis for executive management. Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and upper management.
Create CFO’s presentations to the Board of Directors.
Develop comprehensive reports for the CEO, CFO, and VP, Investor Relations. Conduct self-initiated and requested ad-hoc analysis.
Provide competitive analysis and value-added commentary for executive/senior management.
Support various departments with financial insights and recommendations.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
3 – 5 years of experience in financial roles with some experience in budgeting and forecasting and other planning and analysis
Experience in a large public company or accounting firm
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Detail-oriented, strong analytical and organizational skills
Leadership in managing financial data and providing guidance to executive management. The role involves complex financial analysis and requires the ability to solve problems related to financial forecasting and reporting.

Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
