Job Description
Position Overview The Financial Analyst will be integral in providing comprehensive financial analysis and support across all stages of real estate development and construction projects. This role demands a strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and investment analysis to ensure the profitability and financial health of our projects Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed financial models and pro formas to evaluate project feasibility, cash flows, and returns. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess financial risks and opportunities. Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost tracking and variance analysis. Analyze investment opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure financial objectives are met. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for investors and partners. Support due diligence processes, including reviewing property records, zoning regulations, and financial statements. Conduct market research to assess demand, competitive landscape, and economic trends. Prepare internal and external investment memos, teasers, and portfolio updates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within the real estate development or construction industry. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with real estate software is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of real estate markets, project financing, and construction budgets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications MBA, CFA, or progress toward certification. Experience with multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Familiarity with Argus or other complex financial modeling software.
