JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Revenue & Analysis team for the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand, playing a key role in driving revenue optimization through data analysis and strategic insights. This position will act as a lead analyst for pricing, promotional evaluation, and yield management efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends and historical performance data, developing pricing strategies, monitoring the effectiveness of promotions, and providing clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform strategic data analysis of Revenue, gathering from various sources to optimize annual revenue short- and long-term goals.
Analyze trends by sales and market channels for revenue maximization purposes. Make recommendations with findings.
Run competitive analysis on traditional and non-traditional competition.
Translate findings into pricing actions as it relates to inventory control and tactical promotions with a combination of management directives, data analytics, and market knowledge.
Lead the monthly and quarterly pricing change recommendation process by analyzing market trends, competitive pricing, and internal performance data to develop strategic pricing proposals.
Provide support in analyzing new season launches, including performance trends and key metrics, as well as assist in the development of accurate forecasts and budget planning to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor the performance of promotions, sales initiatives, and tactical offers, and compile the findings into clear, actionable summaries for leadership presentations.
Maintain and continuously evolve pricing files and models to work in a faster and flawless fashion.
Analyze and compare the effectiveness of promotions versus pricing actions and initiatives. Provide data-driven recommendations based on performance results.
Analyze revenue generation and identify areas of opportunity by monitoring changes across all distribution channels, analyze key metrics, and provide reporting on analyses.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with financial or business planning. Cruise line or hospitality industry experience preferred.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with special emphasis on Excel spreadsheet analysis.
Ability to work independently.
