This position requires a blend of technical expertise in Cognos and Excel, along with timeshare experience, to support data-driven decision-making and ensure the financial health and growth of the company. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling ad hoc reports, financial modeling, and will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Information Management team. Position Summary:
Business Request Management:
Prioritize and respond to incoming business and ad hoc reporting requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand information needs and deliver relevant, actionable data solutions.
Executive Presentations:
Present complex financial models and customer value analyses to executive leadership, translating insights into clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations that inform strategic decisions.
Data Analysis & Modeling:
Leverage big data tools (Cognos, Excel) to extract insights, model customer lifetime value, and develop ROI and sensitivity analyses for new initiatives.
Financial Modeling:
Build advanced Excel models for profitability, cost-benefit, and scenario analysis, turning large datasets into fact-based recommendations.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Manage operational and financial reporting, including variance and forecasting analysis, to support business planning.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive key initiatives, track milestones, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Adaptability & Learning:
Quickly grasp complex concepts, tools, and business models, enabling rapid onboarding and impactful contributions in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications:
IBM Cognos Experience Extensive experience in Excel Experience delivering insights and recommendations based on analysis through PowerPoint presentations Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in written form. Bachelors Degree 1-3 years of related experience
