Jun 12, 2025 Our client is the leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services. They are rapidly growing in the Orlando market and have over 300 offices around the world. We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team.

$80k – $120k

POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis and accounting support to help drive business decisions. The role requires a strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and billing.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR PROJECT ANALYST

Conduct a thorough financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Analyze financial data and create detailed reports on trends, variances, and forecasts.
Develop and maintain financial models to improve decision-making processes.
Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes.
Work closely with departmental managers to prepare and monitor budgets.
Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Project and review project milestones, assisted with revenue recognition, and project billing.
Review project labor costs and prepare change orders if necessary.
Managed multiple projects and work with billing specialists, project managers, and Finance teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT ANALYST

4+ years of experience in project accounting.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling experience.
Experience in construction, engineering, or consulting services.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT ANALYST

10+ years of finance and accounting experience.
ERP system experience with programs such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
